Rules

You WILL follow ALL of these rules, and you WILL be happy!

General Rules (G)

G1. Do not post, discuss in graphic detail, upload, request, or link to anything that is illegal in the United States. If you do, you may be reported to law enforcement.

G2. NSFW material is permitted as long as it has a good purpose for being in a Soysylum entry. The NSFW material should be relevant, forewarned, and well hidden. Soysylum staff reserve the right to delete any NSFW material.

G3. (a) Vandalism is not permitted. (b) Do not delete, blank or replace the content of a page. (c) Spambots are prohibited. Displaying the behavior of vandalism consistently is grounds for a harsh ban.

G4. Advertising is not permitted.

G5. Pages should be at the very least tangentially related to soyjaks, the soysylum, soy lore, or soy culture.

G6. Edit warring is discouraged.

G7. If you're identified as a member of a hostile community, you'll be banned.

G8. You WILL NOT promote or advocate for pedophilia. (The posting of certain variants may constitute a ban if the usage is in an overtly pedophilic manner.)

G9. You WILL NOT use this website if you are under the age of 16.

G10. Soysylum staff have final say over janitorial action. If you wish to contest a moderation ruling, email Dr. Soyberg at soysylum.helpline@gmail.com

Usernames and Alternate Accounts/Meta (M)

M1. Do not use alternate accounts (sockpuppets) to break any of the other rules listed.

M2. Do not create or use alt accounts to circumvent a ban. Doing so will result in a permanent ban, so wait or appeal your current ban.

M3. Do not impersonate soyjak.party staff.

M4. Do not create an account with an inappropriate username, such as a username that promotes pedophilia. Otherwise, usernames that are considered offensive to normies but not to soyteens are acceptable.

Soy Culture

Soy culture is defined as: A subject (person, place, meme or event) on the Sharty, on the 'ru, on the 'ki, or on the original /qa/, that has gained genuine and organic recognition, among the general population of soyteens, at any point in time, historically or currently; Recognition excludes the extent to which the subject has been forced, unless it catches on.

Examples include, but are not limited to: Soyjaks, Raids, raid targets, Sharty boards, both /qa/ boards, pages about soy-related splinters.

Ban appeals

If you would like to appeal a ban, simply put a message on your own talk page or send an email stating why your ban should be lifted.

Deleting Your Account

Accounts can never be fully deleted, like on Wikipedia. The most you can do is ask an Admin for your account to be vanished. You may also ask a Suppressor to suppress your account from the wiki. An example of user suppression is edits made by "(username removed)", which in a way completely erases them from the wiki for normal wiki users. This is as close as we can get as possible to actual account deletion. Officially, this also permabans your account.
