Containment Procedure
Several Sproke pumps have been installed around the Gamma Site in order to slow down Fingerboy production from Patient-67. The Procedure has reduced Patient-67-1 instances by 12% so far. There might be multiple instances of Patient-67, explaining the low effectiveness of the Procedure.
Patient-67-1
For testing, clearance needs to be granted by a high level doctor. An adult specimen of Patient-67-1 can be contained in a standard metal cage with minimal risk.
Although the threat is transcendent of standard containment procedures, measures and initiatives have been taken to reduce its impact on the environment.
Initiative Tau, is the main project, to control the population of Patient-67-1 at the main site, ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️ ◼️◼️◼️◼️ National Park. Every month, MTF Vanta-69 "Pooners" is to conduct two four-hour sweeps at the Site, during midnight, and within a three-day period. Smaller nests are ordered to be contained and captured, though larger nests are to be treated with Sproke pesticide.
Description
Patient-67 is a subterranean creature who has three ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️. They have three pairs of male-like ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️. Their groin area is capable of releasing ◼️◼️◼️ Patient-67-1 specimens per minute. Their upper body is approximately ◼️◼️◼️ meters tall, and they weigh at least 2000 kg. Patient-67 is possibly the source of all instances Patient-67-1.
Patient-67-1
Patient-67-1, also known as a "Fingerboy", is a humanoid monster with a large mouth, and wings under its arms. It is 4 to 5 feet in height. It is capable of flight in quick bursts, to close in on its prey, and typically hunts in groups of 10 or higher. Its mouth is capable of biting an adult soyjak's arm off. Specimens of Patient-67-1 use echolocation to compensate for its lack of eyes. They seem to use their nervous system for cognition, and share a hive-mind with Patient-67.
Specimens of Patient-67-1 reproduce sexually, and lay eggs in nests. Infant specimens are under 1 feet tall, and vulnerable to predators. Their parents are especially territorial around nests, and are dangerous to soyjaks within 350 meters. Over the course of 3 months, the baby Fingerboys grow into adults.
