Soypecial Containment Procedures

Patient-6767 is to be kept in a reinforced solitary cell on the lowest sublevel of Gamma Wing, Standard metal bed frame bolted to the floor is permitted. Guards are to wear noise-canceling headsets rated for continuous 110+ dB exposure. Any staff member who reports hearing the number "67" whispered after their shift is to be immediately rotated off the wing and given a full psychological evaluation..

If Patient-6767 begins vocalizing the number sequence in a looping pattern for more than three minutes, Code Thrembo-67 is to be enacted. All personnel within three corridors are to evacuate. Containment Squad "Screamstoppers" is authorized to deploy heavy retardation darts. Under no circumstances is the patient to be allowed visual or auditory contact with other patients. Previous experiments involving shared observation windows resulted in three orderlies developing compulsive counting disorders and one junior doctor carving "67" into his own forearm.

The pentagrams and inverted symbols that spontaneously appear on the walls are to be documented then immediately painted over. Do not attempt to interpret them. Do not photograph them for personal collections.

Description

Patient-6767 presents as a pale, emaciated humanoid male of indeterminate age, approximately 1.7 meters tall when standing. Hair is long, matted, and permanently disheveled. Eyes are pure black voids with no visible sclera or iris. Mouth is capable of opening far beyond normal human limits, revealing an endless dark cavity from which the characteristic continuous scream emanates. The scream is not constant; it comes in waves, often triggered by the patient noticing the number 67 written anywhere in its field of vision or spoken aloud within earshot.

The entity appears to be in a perpetual state of extreme psychological distress. Hands are usually clamped over the sides of the head, skin is covered in self-inflicted scratches that form the digits "6" and "7" repeatedly. Blood is frequently used by the patient to write the number across every available surface. Analysis of the substance shows it is not entirely human.

Patient-6767 was recovered in early 2025 from an abandoned psychiatric wing in [REDACTED] after local authorities reported a series of "mass counting incidents." Multiple civilians in the surrounding area had begun compulsively repeating the number 67, some to the point of self-harm. The room in which the patient was found matched the current containment cell almost exactly, already covered in the same scrawls, pentagrams, and screaming figure drawings. How the patient ended up there is still under investigation by Dr. Soystein's team. Preliminary notes suggest possible anomalous self-manifestation or residual effect from an earlier, poorly documented incident involving Patient-067.

The number 67 appears to function as both obsession and vector. Any surface the patient can reach becomes covered in it. Staff who spend prolonged time near the cell report intrusive thoughts of the number, mild headaches, and in severe cases the urge to write it themselves. One orderly was found in the break room covered in self-drawn "67"s after a twelve-hour shift. He has since been reassigned to laundry and is under observation.

Dr. Soyberg notes: "This one is pure coal. Worse than the Fingerboys. At least those things you can shoot. This just sits there and makes the walls scream with it. Recommend permanent isolation and minimal staff rotation. If the counting starts spreading to the rest of the wing we may have a Rapeson 2.0 - level event on our hands. Or worse."

Dr. Soystein addendum: "Interesting correlation with Patient-067. The number is inverted. Possibly a conceptual echo or parasitic offshoot. Further study required, though preferably from a different site. I keep hearing it when I try to sleep."

Treatment Status

Current treatments are palliative only. Sproke slows the rate of wall-writing by approximately 18%. Standard antipsychotics have zero measurable effect. Experimental sensory deprivation trials were halted after the patient began writing the number in its own blood on the inside of the deprivation hood. Euthanasia has been discussed in closed sessions and tabled for now. The patient appears to regenerate minor injuries at an accelerated rate when the number is present in its environment.

Prognosis: Permanent containment. Zero chance of recovery. High risk of conceptual contamination. Staff are advised to avoid thinking about the number for prolonged periods.
