Hello Sprokemowerman, it is I, Dr Soyberg. I formally invite you to be a helper on this wiki because of your dedication to expanding upon and improving coalish articles. Please email me at soysylum.helpline@gmail.com for further details.

Hello, Sprokemowerman. It's me, Soyberg again. I was wondering if you could update the Soysylum page category template to include all the new articles. Thanks in advance. - Dr. Soyberg

Done. I'll probably update the other stuff, too. Btw, should we protect the imported pages, like some sort of archive? --SprokemowerMan (talk) 02:46, 12 March 2024 (PDT)

What pages do you suggest? -Dr. Soyberg

The ones in the Imported category.
My thought process is that their original authors are very unlikely to edit it, since they were posted on sharty and 4cuck before being put on a wiki, then imported here after that.
Idk, protecting them probably doesn't matter. They're already mirrored anyway.--SprokemowerMan (talk) 13:59, 12 March 2024 (PDT)

Hey, can you please make https://soysylum.org/The_Soysylum:About redirect to the Soysylum page? Ty in advance. -Dr. Soyberg

I have read your concern regarding archiving pages, I will talk to Angeleno about some way to archive everything. -Dr. Soyberg

Okay. I'm not sure how far that will go however. We should explore other avenues of archival in the meantime.
Btw can you give ban perms to me? I already have them on the main wiki. I think not adding it to janny was an oversight. --SprokemowerMan ● Talk Page 11:42, 30 May 2024 (PDT)

Hi Sproke[edit source]

It has been a while. I'm sorry to bother you here but I noticed you're more active here so I'll use this wiki to communicate: what do you think of the SNCA update over at SW? Is it a good or bad idea? We were de-facto allowing this through articles in User: but now it's all in 1 namespace (SNCA:). I know I'm supposed to be the head admin there but I still value your opinion greatly and would like to hear what you think; there aren't many people I can consult on things like this left anymore.

No need to contact me here, because I still check the wiki. I'm just writing Soysylum stuff for fun. I like this change. It should fix the NAS problem on that wiki.
In my opinion, the pages under the "Marge, Why Is There An Article?" template most strongly belong in the SNCA namespace. Of course, your Head Admin now, so make whichever choice. --SprokemowerMan ● Talk Page 22:59, 1 September 2025 (PDT)
Are you still here Sproke? I'd like to ask you for your opinion regarding something that affects the future of the wiki. Cobblestone (talk) 18:06, 8 October 2025 (PDT)
Yes. --SprokemowerMan ● Talk Page 07:32, 9 October 2025 (PDT)
I've been thinking about it, and I've noticed that most new articles are NOT on soyjaks, they're shit like raids, trolling, and NAS. I've been thinking whether SW should really be an everything wiki after all, and my idea is this: high-quality SNCA: articles can be moved to the main namespace, but low-quality NAS articles stay in SNCA. What do you think? Cobblestone (talk) 16:39, 9 October 2025 (PDT)
The Sharty culture rule should apply. If it's forced and/or NAS it doesn't belong in (Main). Raids are definitely Sharty culture, but there is a problem that they'll keep gaining new articles until it becomes the main focus. Enforcing the rule in its current state, is the default option, but if you think raids are a big problem, then you might change the rule a little bit. I think the most popular option will be to keep raids in (Main). --SprokemowerMan ● Talk Page 11:13, 11 October 2025 (PDT)
My idea was to potentially just let NAS be on the main namespace, but I think you're right: the status quo seems to be fine right now. Thanks for the input. Cobblestone (talk) 18:46, 11 October 2025 (PDT)
