Chauvin's Beetles (Chauvincha Cleoptra) also known as Cheetles are a very common type of giant beetle found deep within the glaciers of Antarctica. They are one of the primary sources of meat provided to the US. The current top provider of Cheetle meat is the JIDF.

History[edit | edit source]

Cheetles date back to the Asselian era originating from Greenland. The migrated to Antarctica after evolving to withstand extreme temperatures and digest ice. They were first discovered in 1878 after some explorers dug a grave for their fallen friends using heavy machinery. The explorers discovered a small group of Cheetles clamoring out from their burrows in the ice to investigate the disturbance. The Cheetles were considered SNCA for a while, in fact, they were so insignificant that they didn't even have an official name. This was until the advent of Global Warming came about in which large "herds" of them came crawling out from the icebergs of Antarctica. The WEF would be the first to attempt to capitalize on these insects by growing vast quantities of them in secluded research facilities for usage as sustenance. Various petitions were held as to what these insects should be named, but it wasn't until the George Floyd fiasco in which the name Chauvin's Beetle would be determined after an internet poll. The WEF would continue harvesting Cheetles until their facilities were bought out by the JIDF for usage as war rations as well as a small portion going to the Soysylum to feed the schizos that are held.

Cooking[edit | edit source]

Cheetles make a good replacement for just about every meat known to man, however, they are described as having a rather bland taste. One of their main upsides is that they can be eaten raw and even alive. Various conspiracy theorists and far-right agitators have attempted to dispel this fact by bringing up points about how disgusting it is to eat an insect raw. These "arguments" are based entirely on personal opinion, plus it shouldn't matter to them how people prefer to eat their food.
